Hi everyone! I'm wondering if you have any proven rituals for the New Year? I would like to finally attract some luck and prosperity to myself in the coming year. I've heard about various methods, but I don't know which ones are really effective. Maybe you can share your experiences?

Soon the festival of Yule - the nascent sun, admittedly it is not on New Year's Day or New Year's Eve, but before Christmas, but it is worth a group experience such a ritual. Powerful power, I personally will be the second time on this Wiccan Sabbath.

I personally have been practicing the ritual of cleansing the space for years. Before New Year's Eve itself, I thoroughly clean the entire apartment, get rid of old, unnecessary things, and then I odor it with white sage. This is a symbolic farewell to the old year and preparing the space for new energies. 😊

And I've heard of a ritual with a coin in your shoe Apparently, you have to put a gold coin in your right shoe and keep it there all night on New Year's Eve. This is supposed to attract wealth. Do you think it works?

@nibir The coin eitual is rather a superstition, but if you believe in its power, it can work. It all depends on your intention. If you visualize wealth and prosperity, you increase the chance of attracting them. I recommend you a ritual with a letter to the Universe. Write all your dreams and goals for the New Year on a piece of paper, and then burn it in the flame of a candle, imagining your requests floating up and being heard.

I'm a bit skeptical when it comes to magic, but my grandmother always said that on New Year's Day you shouldn't clean, because you can sweep luck out of your house! 😂 Have you heard of such a thing?

@dagma You know, in every tradition there are some superstitions and customs 😉 Some of them have their roots in ancient beliefs and magical practices. I take it with a pinch of salt, but I respect tradition. 😊 As for cleaning up on New Year's Day, I personally prefer to do the cleaning before New Year's Eve to enter the new year with clean energy.

@golta You can perform a ritual with a pink candle. Light it on the night of New Year's Eve, visualizing your ideal partner and happy relationship. You can also write on a piece of paper the qualities your beloved should have, and then hide it under your pillow.

Take advantage of Yule on December 21 and continue until January 1, this is a really powerful form of mystery.

I once heard that on New Year's Day you should wear red underwear for luck. Do you do that?
