When I met this new guy, it was a strange feeling. I felt with him as if something inside me was telling me what I should do and say. When I was with him, I didn't think about the world around me, I felt subdued, as if I had no strength.... And when he was away, I felt normal. I had the feeling that I didn't want to see him, but something was pulling me to him.

This is actually a good thing, because the more different approaches, the better the understanding of the subject. In my experience, helping someone and supporting them for a few more weeks really works wonders. Leaving that person alone is a bad idea, in my opinion. I'm also not in favor of doing everything for someone.
