I don't think this topic has been addressed yet.

It's all about artifacts, but not the ancient ones that are power carriers.

Arte Faktum comes from the Latin phrase meaning something artificially produced.

I used to devote all my energy to this subject. Creating new facilities was my passion. I still have a lot of knowledge on the subject, although I realize that focusing solely on this has not benefited me. Nevertheless, I have a lot of experience.

This thread treats the potential of such objects and methods for creating them.

How to get started:

First consider what you want to achieve with the artifact. It can be used to store energy, transform it, shape it, sustain certain spells, strengthen your own spells or weaken others'. The possibilities are many - even the creation of a personal mini-dimension where you set the rules.

Then, plan what item will serve as the base. This container can be modified or designed for a specific purpose. The shape of the item is crucial!

Smooth surfaces are used for storage.

Sharp forms strengthen.

Flat structures make changes possible.

Large shapes help to maintain energy.

Grainy textures are used to weaken.

Different types can be combined. For example, I use a granular-smooth container to get rid of certain energies.

An important element is the bond with the object. The stronger it is, the easier the action will be. It is important not to see the object as the ultimate goal, but as a helper. This will make the effect of the spell permanent. For storing energy, a regular transfer of energy is enough.

When will the spell 'mature'? Test the object to see if it has the intended effect. If it does, it means it is ready. If not, wait or try again.

The possibilities are really wide, although there is no way to create a perfect barrier. I myself use items mainly for energy storage.

If you have an idea but don't know how to implement it, I can share general tips on how I would do it, although I won't give you a ready-made solution.
