Reading minds

(@dagma)

I wonder if it is possible to read the other person's thoughts? Anyone have experience with this?

And why do you need such a thing?

I would definitely recommend caution.

And is it even possible to learn to "read minds"? 🤔 Is it some innate ability?

@arkania Some people are born with greater sensitivity, but anyone can develop intuition and empathy. The key is self-awareness and working on yourself.

@wiciol Exactly. It's a process, not a "magic button." 😉 Besides, mind reading is not the same as listening to the radio. Rather, it's a subtle feeling of emotions and intentions.

you know I'll tell you this, some people have this gift from birth which doesn't mean that others can't develop it in themselves, science defines the ability to use the brain and its neural potential at about 10% and the transfer of thoughts between people is probably not much more than that, so it can be worked out.

Is it something like telepathy?

@centa You could say that. Although telepathy is usually the conscious sending and receiving of thoughts, and here we are talking more about intuitive "sensing" of the other person.

@bryza An apt observation. It's worth remembering that this is a delicate matter. It is easy to make a mistake, to project one's own thoughts, or even.... "picking up" someone else's problems.
